WHITE HOREHOUND

(Marribium Vulgare)


A bitter, aromatic herb that is antiseptic and expectorant, reduces inflammation and relieves spasm. It also increases perspiration rate, stimulate bile flow, and has a sedative effect on the heart.

White Horehound (Lycopus virginicus)
· long been known as a soothing syrup and tonic candy
· traditionally has been used for acute and chronic bronchitis, whooping cough, and specifically for bronchitis with non-productive cough
· loosens impacted phlegm in the throat, lungs and sinuses
· can be used as a tonic for treatment of many conditions peculiar to ailments of the stomach
· sustains vocal chords, helps with hoarseness, laryngitis, and congestion
· can be used as a wash for skin dermatitis conditions to promote healing
· combines well with Ginger for whooping cough and with Lobelia

SUGGESTED DOSAGE: should be used as directed by a qualified professional practitioner.
Tincture - Spray:
3-6 pumps three times daily.
Extract: ½ tsp 3 times daily.
CONTRA INDICATIONS:
Should not be taken in excessive doses. Avoid during preganancy.
