STILLINGIA

(Stillingia sylvatica)


A bitter, acrid, tonic herb with an unpleasant odor. It is alterative, expectorant, and a laxative.

PROPERTIES: antispasmodic, astringent, dermatological, diaphoretic, expectorant, sialogogue

Stillingia (Stillingia sylvatica)
· traditionally has been used for bronchitis, laryngitis, and laryngismus stridulus
· for syphilis, liver and genitourinary complaints
· cutaneous skin eruptions with irritation and lymphatic involvement
· relieves hemorrhoids and constipation
· combines with Yellow Dock, Blue Flag and Fumatory in cutaneous eruptions
· combines with Lobeliea, Blue Root, Anise and Eucalyptus Oil in laryngismus stridulus and bronchitis

SUGGESTED DOSAGE: should be used as directed by a qualified professional practitioner.
Tincture - Spray:
3-6 pumps three times daily.
Extract: ½ tsp 3 times daily.
CONTRA INDICATIONS: Should never be taken in large doses. May cause irritation to the mucous membranes. Avoid used during pregnancy and lactation.
