(Hormone regulator)


A hormone regulator which helps with the symptoms associated with the transition through menopause, such as hot flashes, mood swings and anxiety.

CONTENTS: herb – water, alcohol

Chaste Tree (Vitex agnus-castus)
• increases luteinizing hormone production and inhibits the release of follicle-stimulating hormone which leads to a shift in the ratio of estrogen to progesterone in favor of the progesterone

Black Cohosh (Cimicifuga racemosa)
• helps regulate menstrual flow by influencing the endometrial lining of the uterus
• the root has substances with estrogenic properties thus very helpful for menopause
• used in the uncomfortable symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes and nervousness. It usually works best in combination with other herbs

Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
• stimulates the adrenal glands to produce the hormone estrogen

Dong Quai root powder (Angelica sinensis)
• acts well as a synergist in uterine tonics; helps hormone balancing due to phytoestrogen content
• contains coumarins that relax vasospasms and dilate coronary vessels to help lower blood pressure

St. John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum)
• lightens moods, helps treat anxiety and restlessness and can help combat depressive moods


CAUTION: Use under care of a qualified practitioner when pregnant.

Suggested Dosage: Extract – ½ tsp three times daily for maintenance and up to 2 tsp three times daily
COMPLEMENTARY SUPLEMENATION: Can use extra Black cohosh (as a single herb) to control hot flashes and menstrual flow. Also extra St. John’s Wort (as a single herb) for mood swings.
