GINGER

A sweet, pungent, aromatic, warming herb that is an expectorant, increases perspiration, improves digestion, liver function, controls nausea, vomiting and coughing, stimulates circulation, relaxes spasm, and relieves pain.



PROPERTIES: analgesic, antacid, antiemetic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, aperitive, aromatic, carminative, diaphoretic, diuretic, emmenagogue, nervine, rubefacient, sialagogue, stimulant, stomachic, tonic.

Ginger (Zingiber offic.)
· effective in combating nausea caused by motion sickness
· used to relieve vomiting and to soothe the stomach and the spleen in the process
· most often used as a carminative, usually mixed with a variety of herbs, because of its ability to stop griping and cramping

3-6 pumps three times daily.
