BLOOD ROOT

(Sanguinaria canadensis)


Belongs to the poppy family and is allied to the opium poppy.

PROPERTIES: cathartic, diuretic, emetic, emmenagogue, expectorant, febrifuge, sedative.

Tincture - Spray:
3-6 pumps three times daily.
Extract: ½ tsp 3 times daily. Combines with Lobelia for bronchial asthma.
